On April 5th, 2016, WeeStreem broadcast Thorold City Council for the first time, and it was a big success. Councillors, staff & the community warmed up to the idea of a live stream, and everyone helped contribute to a great first effort. Our skills and angles will only get better once wee all get comfortable with each other – but as you can see in the video, WeeStreem’s first broadcast is still fairly remarkable and unlike anything the people of Thorold have ever had. Council is now more accessible and accountable to the people of Thorold than ever.
